I baked mine straight from the freezer, and they were approaching too dark at 18 minutes (whereas the instructions say to bake for 15-18 minutes for unfrozen shortcakes, and to add 5 minutes if baking from the freezer). Anyway, so next time I'm going to start checking on mine a little earlier!
