TWD Tender Shortcakes

Again I got these done ahead of time and just didn't get the post up (I need to work on my schedule here). Anyway, I made the full batch, which made some huge shortcakes!

They ended up having to bake longer and got a little dark, but the family loved these anyway :)

Your shortcakes look so yummy! My mouth is a watering as I write. Shortcakes are great served with so many different types of fruit. Great way to serve up deserts to a crowd. Thanks so much for sharing a great blog.

Yay - glad these were a hit with the family! They look fabulous! I baked mine straight from the freezer, and they were approaching too dark at 18 minutes (whereas the instructions say to bake for 15-18 minutes for unfrozen shortcakes, and to add 5 minutes if baking from the freezer). Anyway, so next time I'm going to start checking on mine a little earlier! Your shortcakes are just beautiful - thank you so much for baking along with me this week.

These look great! Mine were also a little browner than I planned but they were still yummy.
