Normally chocolate chip cookies are our everyday cookies, and I make them with half flax/half butter so I don't feel as guilty. I'd forgotten how sweet and fine regular choc chip cookies are!
These were great cookies, I liked how they were soft. I'd add just a little more flour next time, but these were great cookies!
Kait of Kait’s Plate for this week's selection!

They do look amazing! I liked them, but found them a bit flat. Do you usually replace the butter with flax seeds, or ground flax?
With ground flax - we've ground it in a coffee grinder and have also used purchased meal. They both seem to work! It's certainly a different texture, a little nuttier. Kind of the difference between white and ww bread.
I have an entire bag of flax in the fridge - but have never tried using it for some of the butter in a recipe.
No time like the present, right?
Using flax sounds good. I have some and may have to try that. Your cookies look perfect!
I love flax and put it in my oatmeal every morning! Your cookies look so tasty and Im sure they were!!
I hope you can bake with me next week..the wheat germ is so good in the cookies!
I think yours are one of the few that aren't flat. They look perfect.
